The following high-quality service-learning videos can be useful as you promote and practice service-learning in your classrooms, schools, and school districts.

Free Videos Available Through the Partnership

In partnership with the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, the Learning In Deed initiative and high-quality practitioners in the service-learning community, the following videos are available free from the National Service-Learning Partnership. These are excellent resources for use in teacher trainings, presentations at school board or faculty meetings, or as an introduction to service-learning for young people.

-- Learning In Deed: The Power of Service-Learning for American Schools. Introduces the service-learning teaching method using school and community examples from across the country.

-- Academics in Action: The Value of Service-Learning. Members of the National Commission on Service-Learning, joined by students and teachers, speak about the benefits of service to schools and communities.
